Annette reaches out . . .
Better at burning bridges than building them

"... let’s kill off this ridiculous notion that Blacks always know what best for Blacks."

 --The Paxton Herald. 3-14-01

"...these three people seem to believe that you have to be Black in order to help Black people, or in order to work in the best interest of the Black population. Nothing could be further from the truth!  Mosten, Wright & Stringer have proven this.

These three people, all minorities, have personal agendas that, if they have their way, will do harm to the Black community in the City of Harrisburg.

Shame on all three of them ... they should resign."

For someone championing the creation of an African-American Museum in some slum property she owns, Antoun's style lacks a certain level of, well, tact.

council.jpg (21761 bytes)Coalition building was never Annette's strong suit, and lately  it appears whatever primitive skills she may have possessed are now completely atrophied.  If she is truly committed to the creation of an African-American Museum, what is she hoping to accomplish by such an over-the-top attack?  But we long ago gave up trying to divine Annette's  motives or sort out her tangled logic.

If the laudable goal of an African-American Museum is to be realized in Harrisburg, we sincerely doubt Annette Antoun has the vision, diplomacy, qualifications or political capital to bring the project to fruition.
